Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Position Overview

Our Tulsa Bus Plant is seeking Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team!  

This role will support our production line to meet daily production goals by providing floor support for the finish and chassis lines to maintain first time quality, cost, and throughput, as well as implement continuous improvement projects requested by the production team.  In addition, the roles will also be responsible for the development and implementation of projects to improve safety, ergonomics, cost, quality, and throughput. Both roles will spend extensive time on the manufacturing floor with our represented employees. 

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub assemblies and final assemblies.
• Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products.
• Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
• Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations. 

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 2 years of product manufacturing experience

OR

• Master’s degree 

OR

• At least 4 years of product manufacturing experience

Additional Requirements

• Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills

• Bachelors' Degree in Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, is preferred 
• Analytical skills 
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and complete work in a timely manner with minimal supervision 
• Ability to interact with all levels of management 
• Teamcenter NX 
• Proficient with MS Office 
• Familiarity with motion study/time study
