Logistics Process Optimization Intern – Summer 2025

Join us as a Logistics Process Optimization Intern!

 

We’re seeking a motivated intern to support our team with key responsibilities, including managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration. This role involves analyzing and interpreting data in Excel to generate actionable insights, as well as contributing to LinkedIn content creation to enhance our brand presence and engagement. About the Intern Program

  • 12 week program with start dates on: May 12 or 19 or June 2
  • 40 hours per week
  • Must graduate between December 2025 - May 2027

Responsibilities

  • Supplier Portal Update: Assist with updating and maintaining the Supplier Portal to ensure accurate and up-to-date supplier information.
  • Process Mining Support: Help manage and support the Inventory Optimization project, including data collection, analysis, and process mapping.
  • Expedite Process Workflow Automation: Assist in streamlining and automating workflow processes to improve efficiency across operations.
  • Governance Documentation Support: Contribute to the preparation and organization of governance documentation, ensuring compliance and consistency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside different teams to gather insights, report findings, and help implement process improvements.

Minimum Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. International Motors does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B or F-1 status)

Desired Skills

  • At least Sophomore standing for undergrad at the time of application
  • Able to work at least 12 weeks (starting the end of May or early June through August)
  • Previous applicable internships
  • Self-starter
  • High level of computer skills (Microsoft Applications and Internet)

The expected compensation hourly pay ranges for hires into our campus intern openings is $24 - $38/hour. The hourly pay rate is based on year in school and is non-negotiable.
