Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs, document patient history
- Assist during medical procedures.
- Organize examination rooms and stock supplies
- Other duties assigned by leadership
- 0-2 years of experience, preferred
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Completion of Medical Assistant program or eligible for certification as a Medical Assistant in the state of employment.
- Basic PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual in Spanish highly desired
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, high-volume work environment
- Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete standard tasks
- Works on routine assignments that require basic problem resolution
- Refers to policies and past practices for guidance
- Receives general direction on standard work; receives detailed instruction on new assignments
- Consults with supervisor or senior peers on complex and unusual problems
