- Minimum (2) two years of related Facilities Maintenance experience in Senior Living, Hospitality or Multi Family and some formal training in at least one of the following areas: Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Appliance Repair, Remodeling.
- Ability to perform general maintenance repair needs at assigned communities, problem solve, plan, organize, communicate, and cooperate with others.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Exceptional customer service skills and strong communication skills.
- Must possesses own tools to perform daily maintenance tasks.
- Basic knowledge of Commercial building codes and OSHA safety regulations.
- Ability to follow instructions and to accept constructive criticism.
- Willingness to seek out new methods and participate and be able to incorporate them into existing maintenance practices.
- Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively follow written and oral instructions.
- Must have valid state driver’s license.
