Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Measurement Technician, located in Cleo Springs, OK. The Measurement Technician will oversee daily operations related to meters, measurements, and calibration. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining measurement systems, troubleshooting technical issues, performing regular calibrations, and ensuring accurate data collection and reporting. Collaboration with internal teams to optimize measurement processes is essential to this role.
Essential Job Duties:
- Responsible for accurate measurement, sampling, operations, and custody transfer of various crude oil types being gathered and transported; following measurement manual procedures and guidelines.
- Responsible to reconcile system/segment line balance, batch changes, and system utilization and quality control.
- Performs (L) ACT and tank inspections with associated documentation.
- Responsible for measurement security at field locations and stations within area of responsibility.
- Responsible for monitoring SCADA/HMI interface, generating tickets (internally/externally)
- Read and understand station flow diagrams, gate maps, and pipeline drawings.
- Perform duties with “One-Call” pipeline response system as needed, to include identifying/locating company pipelines/assets by probing, mapping, and/or flagging methods.
- Responsible for launching/receiving scrapers/pigs, valve inspections, and ROW maintenance including line marker replacement.
- Position requires manual dexterity and visual acuity, ability to lift 50 lbs., and work outside in all weather conditions, and extended hours.

Education and AbilityHigh
- School Diploma or GED.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suites, STAR)
- Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
Experience
- 2 years of oilfield pipeline/station measurement experience.
- Preferred experience with (L) ACT meter operations and station equipment, and meters calibration.
- Preferred experience with crude oil analyzing equipment.
- Preferred experience with flow computers, Coriolis Meters, and displacement meters.
Physical Demands
- Position requires manual dexterity and visual acuity, ability to lift 50 lbs., and work outside in all weather conditions, and extended hours.
- Must be able to climb large storage tank stairs, with measurement equipment, and work at elevated heights.
