Supports the planning, maintenance, and implementation of a comprehensive environmental, safety, and occupational health program. Develops environmental criteria, guides, and standards on a variety of topics. Assists in preparing reports, conducting inspections and surveys, and administering Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements. Provides recommendations and feedback on environmental safety matters. This position will be 100% on-site with the government customer.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough surveys of workplace safety programs and identify/assess safety and environmental hazards.
- Review safety policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance with applicable directives.
- Maintain accident and incident records, reports, and documentation to support organizational activities.
- Assist in developing briefings, safety training, and participate in meetings.
- Work independently with strong attention to detail and utilize excellent oral and written communication skills.
- BS or BA degree in a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Ability to interpret and apply safety laws, rules, and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel as needed
- Must have a security clearance
- MS degree in a related field
- Experience conducting workplace accident investigations
- Experience in Solid and Hazardous Waste Management
- Experience in risk management and mitigation
