The Talent Acquisition Assistant reports to the Human Resources Manager and will provide administrative and coordination support to the recruiting team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a positive candidate experience while helping the organization attract compassionate, qualified professionals who support Navian’s mission.
Primary Responsibilities
Generally, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am through 4:30 pm. Some evening and holiday hours, as required
Work Location
This is a remote/hybrid position. In office as needed to support in-person meetings, new hire orientation and other matters

Primary Responsibilities
- Assist talent acquisition specialist(s) with day-to-day recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communications
- Post job openings to job boards, career sites, and internal systems
- Track candidate applications and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Conduct initial candidate outreach, including phone screens and follow-up communications, as directed
- Support onboarding activities, including preparation of offer letters, new hire paperwork, and background check coordination
- Ensure compliance with healthcare, hospice, and regulatory hiring requirements (e.g., licensure verification, documentation tracking)
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive candidate and employee information
- Provide general administrative support to the HR and recruiting team as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned

Experience & Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred
- 1–2 years of administrative, recruiting, or HR support experience preferred
- Experience in healthcare, hospice, or home health recruitment is a plus
