We are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Assistant to join our team for a 2-3 month contract. The length of the contract may vary depending on business needs and project scope. This individual will play a vital role in advancing our mission of bringing hope, reducing fears and impacting lives.

Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Assistant reports to the Human Resources Manager and will provide administrative and coordination support to the recruiting team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a positive candidate experience while helping the organization attract compassionate, qualified professionals who support Navian’s mission.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist talent acquisition specialist(s) with day-to-day recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communications
  • Post job openings to job boards, career sites, and internal systems
  • Track candidate applications and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Conduct initial candidate outreach, including phone screens and follow-up communications, as directed
  • Support onboarding activities, including preparation of offer letters, new hire paperwork, and background check coordination
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare, hospice, and regulatory hiring requirements (e.g., licensure verification, documentation tracking)
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive candidate and employee information
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR and recruiting team as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Shifts

Generally, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am through 4:30 pm. Some evening and holiday hours, as required

Work Location

This is a remote/hybrid position. In office as needed to support in-person meetings, new hire orientation and other matters

Experience & Educational Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred
  • 1–2 years of administrative, recruiting, or HR support experience preferred
  • Experience in healthcare, hospice, or home health recruitment is a plus

Employment Requirements

All offers are contingent on a candidate's successful completion of the following requirements:

  • A legally compliant background check
  • Drug Screen
  • Valid Hawai'i Driver's License
  • Providing copies of valid Vehicle information such as auto insurance, inspection and registration with an acceptable driver's abstract
