We are expanding under a newly awarded VA contract, and we are hiring experienced EMTs who understand what it means to operate with consistency, professionalism, and accountability.

Compensation and Benefits

• $19.47 per hour, based on experience
• Additional Health & Welfare wage of $4.50/hour (up to 80 hours per pay period)

Role Expectations

• Provide safe, efficient BLS care and transport
• Assist paramedics during higher-acuity calls and interventions
• Maintain readiness of equipment, vehicles, and supplies
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
• Represent the company with professionalism on every call

Minimum Qualifications

• Current EMT certification (Illinois or ability to obtain)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong understanding of BLS protocols and patient care fundamentals
• Ability to work effectively in a team-focused, fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, move, and carry patients and equipment up to 150 lbs with assistance
• Frequent bending, lifting, kneeling, and prolonged standing
• Ability to safely load and unload stretchers and equipment
• Work in varied environments including confined spaces and adverse weather
• Maintain stamina and focus during 12-hour shifts
