Job Description
The Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) seeks a highly motivated professional to join the Engine Room Team Trainer Hardware Engineering Team at Kesselring Site within the Naval Training and Simulation Department.
The Hardware Engineering Team delivers a simulation platform to the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program to support training of our sailors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain integrated resource loaded project schedules
- Prepare and analyze budget, cost, and workforce estimates for maintaining a Team Trainer
- Develop and report metrics related to schedule and budget for the Simulation Suite
- Prepare and present material at periodic project/program reviews with management and other stakeholders
This exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Project Analyst to be located at Kesselring Site (NY).
Requirements
A combination of knowledge and skill:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business-related field Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, JIRA Advanced Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint skills Ability to establish/maintain excellent relationships with peers, management, stakeholders, and customers across multiple locations Strong attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication Ability to work independently and/or in a group setting

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation.
