Summary

You will serve as a HEAVY MOBILE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC SUPVERVISOR in the EXPEDITIONARY MAINTENANCE CENTER of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER.

Duties

You will supervise and direct work for fourteen plus employees.You will determine which assignments can be done concurrently or which will be delayed.You will provide technical and administrative for Production.You will ensure that necessary material and equipment is available.You will make work assignments in accordance with the nature of the work to be done and the skills of individual employees.You will visit job sites several times daily to ensure standards of quality and quantity are met.

Qualifications

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. The Screen-out Element for this position is: I have the ability to lead/supervise others who perform common HEAVY MOBIL EQUIPMENT MECHANIC tasks including 1) Using proper protective equipment, including respirators, and safety eyewear; 2) Enforcing regulations and rules concerning conduct, housekeeping and safety; 3) Applying extensive knowledge of diesel fuel systems, hydraulic and pneumatic break systems; 4) Coordinating work with other shops to and 5) Mentoring employees for increased professional advancement.
