What are the responsibilities and job description for the PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST (DOW LOCK PROGRAM SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT) position at NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER?
You will serve as a PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Shore Department of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER.
This position is part of the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-03 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 through GS-14. This position has a control point of GS-13 step 10
I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05 to GS-11 or NT-02) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector 1) Administering an equal employment opportunity complaints program, to include counseling, investigation and adjudication of individual and class complaints of discrimination; 2) Research and operate testing equipment for locking systems and barriers used to protect National Security Information, Arms, Ammunitions & Explosives and other physical security equipment. 3.) Develop training plans and provide training instructions in physical security area; And 4) Deliver briefings, coordinate/conduct conferences, and discuss technical matters to reach agreement on matters necessary to accomplishment of the work.
