Duties

  • You will create and maintain lecture evaluations, final course evaluations and post-graduations follow up evaluations.
  • You will maintain records, prepare reports and compose correspondence.
  • You will develop and modify training materials.
  • You will compile, create ,grade and analyze course examinations utilizing excel spreadsheets and applicable databases.
  • You will serve as the Defense Travel System Approving Official, ensuring government travel orders are complete, accurate and that funding is available.
  • You will serve as the Approving Official for the command Government Commercial Purchase Card Program. Ensuring all purchases are completed correctly and in compliance with regulations.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Work requires some physical exertion such as recurring bending, crouching, stooping. Some walking, standing, carrying of light-moderate (less than 50 lbs) items such as computer equipment, cases of paper and files is required.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card to make official government purchases for goods and services.

Qualifications

GS-11 - Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Organizing and maintaining information and information management systems, 2) Preparing, justifying and administering the program budget, 3) Utilizing job-relevant information systems and /or software applications, 4) Conveying information both verbally and in writing clear and concise manner, 5) Identifying and deploying training program delivery strategies and methodologies, 6) Managing facilities, training spaces, equipment and materials as needed, and 7) Applying resource management principles, business or industry best practices, and applicable policies, regulations, and laws to support operations.

GS-11: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

3 full years of progressively higher- level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.M., if related

GS-09; master's or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher -level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.B. or J.D., if related
