Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will assist patrons in locating and accessing scientific, engineering, and technical information using established library catalogs, commercial databases, electronic collections, and physical materials.
- You will perform searches of standard scientific and technical information sources to support routine and moderately complex research and reference requests, referring highly complex inquiries to senior staff.
- You will provide assistance with the use of electronic resources, digital library tools, and online research systems; troubleshoots routine access issues using established procedures.
- You will support acquisition and maintenance of library resources by identifying routine updates, checking in incoming materials, monitoring circulation, and maintaining bibliographic records.
- You will assist in maintaining library spaces, equipment, and IT-enabled resources.
