Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will provide technical leadership and management for the overall operations of the Combat Survivability Assessment Branch within the Combat Survivability Division.
- You will work on a national level with tri-service organizations to present and advocate Navy requirements and facilitate work on survivability related projects by these organizations within the branch.
- You will evaluate work performance of subordinates and recommend official performance ratings at STRL pay pools in addition to identifying developmental and training needs of employees, providing or arranging for needed development and training.
- You will support assigned programs as a senior level engineer and coordinate with the NAWCAD AA13000 Survivability Tech Warrant holder, program offices, DoW Services, and other agencies supporting applicable programs and technology development.
- You will perform effective senior-level leadership and coordination functions to ensure that all perspectives are considered, leading to more robust, effective, and efficient system solutions.
