Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will identify and plan for the personnel and functional management support required to execute the acquisition strategy.
- You will direct the preparation of documents, specifications, requirements, criteria, and standards, which define needs and parameters of the program, and assure that all planning is fully integrated with overall Navy efforts.
- You will contribute to the determination of resource needs and allocation of resources (funding, manpower, facilities, etc.) for life-cycle management of the assigned program, and analyze all changes that have an impact on the acquisition.
- You will assure that schedules are maintained, risks are identified early, steps are taken to investigate and resolve issues swiftly, and recommend the need to redirect efforts, pursue additional lines of investigation and similar matters.
- You will serve as the central contact point within the program office for all matters concerning the assigned program, and synthesize critical management issues, documentation, and relevant information needed to support program reviews.
