Position Description

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the DHA for Domestic Def Ind Base Facilities & Major Range/Test Facilities Base in DOD. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will independently conduct hazardous and industrial waste pick-up, including thorough preinspection and hazard evaluation, coordinating closely with production and maintenance shops to ensure timely and compliant waste removal.
• You will plan, order, and manage the preparation and mixing of chemical solutions for production and maintenance processes.
• You will lead emergency spill response efforts for hazardous substances, including chemical, biological, and blood-borne pathogen (BBP) incidents.
• You will direct the pumping, transport, storage, and delivery of industrial and bulk hazardous wastes to treatment facilities, ensuring proper profiling, sampling, and laboratory analysis to comply with waste characterization standards.
• You will review, prepare, and validate documentation and manifests supporting hazardous waste disposal, maintaining accurate records for regulatory audits and compliance reporting.
