What are the responsibilities and job description for the Multi-Media Specialist position at Navajo Tribal Utility Authority?
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
Associate's Degree in Digital Communications, New Media, or related field preferred
3 years of experience with website design, editing, and management, developing print, digital media, videography/editing, producing content for social media platforms, photography and public relations experience.
Experience with graphic design principles; multi-media software; project management, methods, and practices.
Exceptional creative and critical thinking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Valid Driver's License (subject to driving record review) required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
Maintains company website, including updating consistently, including creating webpages, notices and graphics for website and other content as needed
Coordinates, integrates, and manages information contributed to the web site; establishes template formats and logical structures for web pages, as appropriate.
Performs a variety of technical duties involved in the design and production of audiovisual presentation, including creating and editing motion graphics for company video productions.
Edits slide and video presentations.
Overseesmaintains library of audio, videotapes, programs produced byfor the Authority.
Coordinates and assesses technicalproduction aspects of promoting the Authority's PR image.
Regular and consistent attendance for assignments is essential, including meeting quick deadlines, and having the ability to work with strict deadlines
Works from copy and prepares materials for reproduction using multi-media publishing systems, graphic design, and multiple multi-media software programs.
Designs and produces camera-ready art including graphs, charts, clip art, posters, digitization of graphics, line-art, and/or photos.
Advisesconsults with Authority PR staff to determine audio needs; recommend services and procedures, serves as part of the PR core planning team.
Prepares or assists with the preparation of scheduled and/or ad hoc statistical and narrative reports; performs information gathering and analysis and/or forecasting, as specifically directed.
Maintains records in accordance with established policies and procedures and audit guidelines.
Performs other duties as assigned.
