Summary Of Position
This position is designed to perform all basic electrical work, de-energizing large mobile mining equipment according to the isolation/lockout standards, trouble-shoot electrical systems on mobile mining equipment, plant and shop facilities, install electrical conduit, and read and interpret single-line diagrams and schematic drawings.
Necessary Qualifications
Working Environment
Works in site environments on rotating shifts with variable hours. Working outdoors in all weather conditions; working in plant environment; working in shop environment; and working in the cab of equipment or vehicle.

Necessary Qualifications
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code and understanding and application of mathematical and electrical formulas is essential.
- Troubleshooting and repair experience with high voltage DC motors and generators.
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- PLC programming, troubleshooting and repair experience preferred
- Technical school degree in Industrial Electronics preferred
- Previous experience with large mobile mining equipment preferred
- MSHA approval for surface mine electrician preferred
