What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fuel Coordinator position at Navajo Express?
This position is Friday- Monday, 7am-4pm
- Fuel Management: This person will work to increase fuel compliance among our fleet of Drivers by providing leadership in the areas of purchasing and distribution of fuel, truck stop network supplier relationships and company fuel policy, fuel and use taxes, fuel payments and cash advance for drivers.
Reporting Relationship:
This position will report directly to the COO, VP of Maintenance
Primary Responsibilities:
Is the point of contact for driver concerns & issues not successfully resolved through their fleet manager and works directly with all company department management and personnel to facilitate the successful issue resolution of driver issues as they relate to FUEL
Is the point of contact for handling internal & external driver complaint calls and proper resolution involving investigation, driver counseling and file documentation as they relate to Fuel Compliance
Manages the driver communication boards in Denver among all drivers
Develop, complete and regularly report monthly metric improvement results in driver turnover/retention, on time customer service, fuel consumption reduction results
Monitor and purchase fuel for our DRIVERS onsite, and assist with Fuel Stops and in-network suppliers while Drivers are out on the road.
