You will serve as an AEROSPACE ENGINEER in the role of Aircraft Performance Team Lead in the Flight Vehicle Performance Branch, Aeromechanics Division, Air Vehicle Engineering Department, Air Systems Group of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Qualifications:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12/13) grade level or (DP-04) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Applying fixed wing aircraft performance and aerodynamic concepts in support of aircraft program; 2) Demonstrating principles and practices of aeronautical engineering in the area of fixed wing aircraft performance; 3) Evaluating fixed wing performance airworthiness criteria and design standards, and applying performance analysis and evaluation techniques to accomplish program goals and objectives; 4) Developing engineering solutions to operational aircraft performance problems, and evaluating and applying new technical developments using innovative methods to solve problemsAdditional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
