QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST

Position Description

You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in the Maintenance Department of Air Test and Evaluation Squadron TWO ONE (HX-21) Presidential Helicopter Support Facility (PHSF) of NAVTESTWINGLANT NWCF.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will exercise management control and direction over planning, implementation, and execution of all HX-21 maintenance and quality assurance programs
• You will serve as the Contracting Officer’s representative for each CLS contract
• You will provide direct liaison with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), program sponsors, test team leadership, the Maintenance Officer, and the Commanding Officer
• You will assist the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) in the development of CLS statements of work (SOW)
• You will review Ground Operating Procedures (GOPs) for new CLS contracts supporting HX-21 aircraft maintenance and modification
• You will verify the quality of aircraft maintenance performed by the contractor
• You will investigate aircrew or Maintenance Officer complaints regarding aircraft maintenance
• You will analyze program audit and inspection data to identify and correct adverse trends
