What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Worker position at Nautilus General Contractors?
The Candidate we seek will possess experience in our general contracting niche of multi-family reconstruction and renovation. Minimum Job Requirements
- Two years of experience in either carpentry or masonry
- Clean MVD
- OSHA 30 is highly preferred, not required.
- Learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work.
- Produce high-quality work safely and productively at all times.
- Must speak and understand English.
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel-toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.)
- May reach above shoulder height and below the waist frequently.
- May stoop, kneel, or bend on an occasional basis.
- Move in and around confined, cluttered, and uneven areas.
- Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
- Will climb and maintain balance on steel/wood framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
- Will lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds. On an occasional basis
- Work up to a 10-hour shift doing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outside conditions.
