Pool Service Technician

Nautical 7 Pools | Las Vegas, Nevada
Full-Time - Contractor

Nautical 7 Pools is a premium residential pool service company serving some of the highest-end properties in the Las Vegas Valley.

We are not a traditional “pool guy” company.

We specialize in precision water chemistry, LSI-based water management, saltwater systems, chemical automation, equipment diagnostics, preventative maintenance, startups, and professional weekly service.

Our technicians work with sophisticated equipment and demanding properties where attention to detail matters.

Our standard is simple: do the job correctly, document it, and take responsibility for your work.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is dependable, disciplined, mechanically inclined, physically capable, and willing to learn.

Pool experience is useful, but character matters more.

We can teach someone how to balance water, diagnose equipment, clean filters, operate testing equipment, and understand LSI.

We cannot teach you to care.

This position is not a good fit for someone who needs to be constantly supervised, regularly calls out, sleeps through alarms, cuts corners when nobody is watching, lies to cover mistakes, blames other people, or considers basic accountability an unreasonable expectation.

If you make a mistake, tell us. We can fix mistakes.

If you hide it or lie about it, we have a different problem.

What You Will Do

You will service premium residential swimming pools throughout the Las Vegas Valley. Responsibilities include:

• Complete scheduled weekly pool service
• Test and balance water chemistry using professional testing equipment
• Manage water according to LSI principles and established company standards
• Brush, skim, vacuum, empty baskets, and maintain pool cleanliness
• Inspect pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, automation, and chemical feeders
• Identify equipment problems before they become major failures
• Clean filters and salt cells
• Maintain saltwater and automated chemical systems
• Document every service with readings, notes, and photographs
• Communicate problems clearly to management
• Secure gates and leave properties exactly as they were found
• Work safely around chemicals, electrical equipment, animals, and mechanical systems
• Maintain your assigned equipment and company vehicle properly

This is physical outdoor work in Las Vegas.

Summer does not cancel because it is hot. Pools do not stop needing service because you are tired. You will work outside, lift equipment and chemicals, get wet, get dirty, and be expected to maintain the same standard at the last pool of the day as the first.

How We Operate

Our technicians are not expected to blindly dump chemicals into pools and move on.

You will learn why water behaves the way it does.

Training includes water chemistry, LSI, pH and alkalinity relationships, calcium management, chlorine demand, C.Y.A., salt systems, chemical automation, equipment operation, troubleshooting, and our service procedures.

We use professional testing equipment and digital service reporting. Every visit is documented.

Our clients hire us because they expect a higher standard. That means details matter.

A gate left open matters.

A chemical reading entered incorrectly matters.

Equipment you noticed but failed to report matters.

A shortcut nobody else saw still matters.

The Culture

Nautical 7 Pools is built around accountability, precision, integrity, and personal responsibility.

We work hard. We expect competence. We joke around. We give each other shit. We also expect everyone on the team to be someone the rest of us can rely on.

You do not need to know everything when you arrive.

You do need to be teachable.

You do not need to be perfect.

You do need to own your mistakes.

You do not need someone standing behind you all day.

You do need enough discipline to do the right thing when nobody is watching.

If you want the easiest possible paycheck, this probably is not the company for you.

If you want to become exceptionally good at a skilled trade, understand the science behind what you are doing, work independently, and be held to a professional standard, we want to talk to you.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean, insurable driving record
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work outdoors in Las Vegas conditions
• Ability to perform repetitive physical work and safely handle pool equipment and chemicals
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow written procedures
• Comfortable using a smartphone and service software
• Willingness to learn water chemistry and equipment diagnostics
• Ability to work independently after training
• Honesty, especially when something goes wrong

Prior pool experience is welcome but not required for the right candidate.

Bad habits disguised as “experience” are not an advantage.

Training and Advancement

New technicians receive extensive hands-on training before operating independently. Training includes field instruction, water chemistry education, equipment training, company procedures, and ongoing testing.

We are building technicians, not bodies to throw onto routes.

Performance creates opportunity. Increased knowledge, reliability, efficiency, and responsibility create a

path toward higher compensation and greater responsibility within the company.

One Final Warning

This company is not for everyone.

The work is demanding. The standards are high. Accountability is immediate.

If that sounds miserable, do not apply.

If you read that and thought, “Good. That's exactly what I want,” we should probably talk.
