DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT
OF POSITION:
Nauset Public Schools is seeking a qualified, organized, and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to the Director of Specialized Programs. The successful candidate will provide administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the Nauset Integrated Preschool.
WORK SCHEDULE: 4.8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Assist with Department of Education recordkeeping and documentation requirements.
Prepare, process, and maintain departmental correspondence and other administrative materials.
Coordinate and maintain records related to student transportation.
Provide general administrative and clerical support to the Director of Specialized Programs.
Ensure the accuracy, confidentiality, and appropriate handling of student records and sensitive information.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Specialized Programs to support the effective and efficient operation of the department
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills.
Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential student information with discretion and professionalism.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and assume responsibility for assigned duties.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and departmental needs.
SALARY:
Per Administrative Assistant CBA level B
