About Showroom Director Role
As Natuzzi Americas continues its U.S. growth, we are seeking a Showroom Director who embraces our harmonious culture and leads with an entrepreneurial approach. This leader is passionate about design, committed to developing people, and focused on driving both the client experience and overall showroom performance.
Our experienced Store Manager is a trained retail professional, with a design background, who is passionate about luxury home furnishings and skilled to create durable relationship with customers. A Brand Ambassador, who strongly believes in the Brand and its Values.
The Store Manager is responsible for the entire management of the Store: Store Staff, Retail Operations (including Store Maintenance), Customer Care, CRM.
The Store Manager’s objectives are measured by the achievement of dedicated KPIs, with the constant aim to maximize sales while providing to the store customers an excellent shopping experience. Increase customers’ loyalty.
About Position - Key Results' Areas
Sales Generation & P&L Leadership:
- Achieve and exceed Store sales goals
- Demonstrate strong business acumen and clarity of purpose with an entrepreneurial approach.
- Foster a high-performance environment built on teamwork, trust, integrity, and accountability.
- Create strategic action plans that drive sales growth and overall showroom performance.
- Full P&L responsibility including forecasting, expense management, and profitability.
- Store Sales Performance Analysis. Define specific Action Plans to achieve objectives
- Define sales staff budget, kpi’s targets and qualitative objectives. Lead individual and team performances
- Store cost management and monitoring;
Client Journey:
- Deliver an elevated, end-to-end luxury client experience, including after-sales care.
- Serve as a passionate brand ambassador by communicating Natuzzi’s design philosophy, craftsmanship, and heritage.
- Guarantee within the store the implementation of all sales tools and guidelines concerning Selling Ceremonies, In-store communication, Visual Merchandising, use of Customer Cards
- Ability to deliver Story Telling, Brand Heritage, Product Story and create a Customer Experience
- Visit, analyze and be informed on Competitors
- Manage after sales matters and customers’ claims
- Increase CRM store customer list
People Development:
- Build an inspired, capable team by empowering associates to be curious, creative, empathetic, and courageous.
- Provide ongoing coaching and development to elevate talent and performance.
- Lead the team in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly objectives with clear strategies for success.
- Follow and transfer to the Team the Company style
- Organize staff one-to-one meetings sharing feedbacks and dedicated individual action plans (weekly/monthly/quarterly)
- Agree sales results and action plans with District Manager
- Responsible for store recruitment, working together with Hr Department and District Manager.
- Guide the induction plan for new hiring
Operations:
- Oversee daily operational responsibilities in alignment with company standards, including selling expectations, POS procedures, order lifecycle management, and client follow-up.
- Manage expenses and support all areas of risk management: security, cash handling, and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure operational excellence through disciplined processes and proactive problem solving.
Merchandising:
- Maintain and execute merchandising directives to reflect current Natuzzi Italia visual standards.
- Demonstrate deep and fluent product knowledge across the full collection.
Marketing:
- Propose/Adopt the store events calendar defined and approved by Region/HQ Marketing Team
- Support the organization of marketing events/activities
- Prepare feedback reports
- Guarantee KPIs Monitoring and manage CRM activities as defined by Corporate;
About Role's Key Requirements
- Passion for luxury design and Italian craftsmanship.
- 5–7 years of store and sales management experience in luxury home furnishings or a related retail environment.
- Strong entrepreneurial vision with the ability to innovate, problem-solve, and lead with ownership.
- Strong analytical ability with the capacity to react quickly to selling trends and drive profitable results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver an exceptional client journey that drives loyalty and measurable results.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills.
- Tech-savvy; comfortable using CRM systems and design software.
- Design or business degree/certification preferred.
- Understand and analyze customers’ behavior with the aim to implement all actions that lead to convert each visitor into buying customers. Guarantee that all guidelines of the Selling Ceremony are followed by the staff
About job offer:
- Base Salary Range: $95,000 – $100,000 annually (based on experience)
- Incentive bonus structure: competitive performance-based bonus
