Buyer- Medical Device, (Hybrid- 1-2 days in Middleton office)
 

Become a key player as a Buyer- Medical Device, managing MRP messages, placing accurate purchase orders and optimizing inventory levels. We are looking for a strategic thinker, who is ready to make a positive difference in the lives of patients all around the world.  

What you’ll get to do in this role:

• Action MRP messages and other supply chain messages as necessary.
• Place purchase orders with approved vendors based on MRP signals, ensuring accuracy of delivery schedules.
• Maintain up-to-date information on Oracle system for various parameters related to parts and materials.
• Optimize inventory levels while securing market supply and minimizing Days Inventory on Hand (DIOH).
• Collaborate with strategic sourcing to renegotiate prices and contracts with suppliers, aiming for cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with various departments to meet customer demands and address issues related to warehouse, inspection, trade, compliance, and finance.
• Manage Engineering Change Requests to minimize obsolete stocks and actively contribute to New Product Introductions.

What we are looking for: Basic Qualifications…

• Bachelor Degree in a related field
• Must have 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Extensive MRP/ERP applications knowledge (Oracle/EBS, would be advantageous).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Good working knowledge of regulatory expectations and industry practices including industry standards QSR, ISO13485, and MDD.

Preferred Skills/Certifications:

• IIPMM or APICS certification preferred.
