Material Handler – 2nd Shift
Blair, Nebraska | $23.00/hour | Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
We are seeking a dependable Material Handler for a full-time, second-shift opportunity at the NatureWorks manufacturing facility in Blair, Nebraska. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse, forklift, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience who enjoys staying active and working as part of a team.
This position will initially be employed and paid through a staffing agency, with the opportunity to transition to direct employment with NatureWorks as headcount becomes available. Successful employees who perform well and enjoy the role will be considered for available NatureWorks positions, which include eligibility for the company's comprehensive benefits package.
Schedule & Pay
- Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
- $23.00 per hour
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Overtime may occasionally be available or required
What You'll Do
The Material Handler supports warehouse and manufacturing operations by safely moving, storing, preparing and tracking materials and finished products. Responsibilities include:
- Load and unload materials and finished goods
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment
- Pick and prepare materials for production and shipment
- Receive, stock, move and ship materials
- Package, label and prepare finished goods
- Complete inventory transactions and related paperwork
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy
- Use scanners and computer systems to track material movement
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
What We're Looking For
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous warehouse or material-handling experience is preferred, particularly experience operating a forklift, using scanning equipment, or working with computerized inventory systems.
Candidates should be comfortable working in an active warehouse/manufacturing environment. The position can involve hot or cold conditions and requires the ability to repeatedly lift up to 60 pounds safely.
