Landscape Maintenance Technician — Full-Time, Flexible, Year-Round

ABOUT US
For over 30 years, Natures Helper Landscaping Inc has been a trusted name in landscaping on the North Coast, providing detailed gardening and landscape maintenance for public spaces and private residential and commercial properties throughout Seaside and the surrounding area. Our contracts include the Seaside Downtown Public Gardens, a well-known and highly visible part of our work in the community.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Landscape Maintenance Technician to join our established crew. This is a full-time, year-round position with flexible, seasonal scheduling, covering a mix of public garden maintenance — including the Seaside Downtown Public Gardens — private residential care, and commercial landscape upkeep across all seasons.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Perform routine landscape maintenance: mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, mulching, and bed maintenance
- Care for detailed public garden plantings, including the Seaside Downtown Public Gardens, with a high standard of precision
- Adapt to seasonal tasks and shifting workloads throughout the year
- Work independently on assigned properties as well as collaboratively with the crew on larger jobs
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely
- Identify and address plant health, irrigation, or maintenance issues on site
- Maintain a professional appearance and interact courteously with clients and the public
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Comfortable working alone and unsupervised, as well as as part of a team
- Physically able to perform outdoor manual labor in all weather conditions, year-round
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Prior landscaping/gardening experience preferred, but willingness to learn considered
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
