Role Description The Production Team Member is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX. This team member will work on the production floor to prepare, cut, and package fresh produce according to company standards and customer specifications. Daily tasks include operating and cleaning equipment, following safety and sanitation procedures, and performing quality checks to ensure products meet established guidelines. The role also involves collaborating with supervisors and colleagues, following production schedules, and supporting continuous improvement efforts in efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications
- Ability to contribute to production planning and follow production schedules effectively.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors.
- Knowledge of quality control practices and commitment to maintaining high product standards.
- Experience or interest in production management and understanding workflow on a production floor.
- Willingness to participate in and support training activities for self and peers.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and basic safety protocols in a production setting.
- Prior experience in food production, manufacturing, or a similar environment is beneficial but not required.
