Sidewalk Crew / Shoveler
Nature’s Touch is ramping up for winter and hiring Sidewalk Crew / Shovelers for the snow season. We use new, well-maintained tools and treat sidewalk teams as first-response.
Position Overview
You’ll clear and de-ice sidewalks, stairs, entries, and tight areas at commercial properties using shovels, pushers, snow blowers, and walk-behind spreaders. Work is on-call during storms (day or night) and throughout the event. Reliability and pace matter.
What You’ll Do
- Shovel, snow-blow, and de-ice sidewalks, stairs, ramps, and entrances
- Apply ice melt safely and evenly; re-check high-traffic areas
- Assist plow teams with tight spots and cleanups
- Follow site maps and app-based instructions; clock in/out on site
- Communicate with dispatch; report hazards or re-freeze quickly
- Keep equipment clean, fueled, and ready between rounds

Requirements
- Experience shoveling or grounds/landscaping preferred (will train the right people)
- Able to lift 30–50 lbs, push/pull equipment, and work in cold/icy conditions
- On-call availability during winter storms (nights/weekends as needed)
- Reliable transportation to route start; valid driver’s license preferred
- Smartphone for route app and communication
