The Operational Excellence Manager leads the cultural transformation in Manufacturing Operations to achieve the vision of Nature's Sunshine to become the world leading Health & Wellbeing company of the future. He/she drives continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste across the supply chain while elevating people skills and team performance. This role champions Lean methodologies and leverages RedZone software to enhance training, reliability, productivity, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive OEE improvements and downtime reduction through targeted initiatives
- Lead Kaizen events and apply Lean tools (5S, Fishbone, 5 Whys) to solve root causes
- Build and align high-functioning teams to execute improvement plans
- Use RedZone software to identify gaps, track progress, and reinforce frontline engagement
- Collaborate with the Value Stream Portfolio Manager to streamline end-to-end processes
- Eliminate waste and increase value-added activities across product families
- Translate strategy into action by identifying gaps and leading change
Core Skills

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5–10 years in manufacturing operations, engineering, Lean practices, and project management
- Strong knowledge of Lean principles, value stream mapping, and supply chain operations
- Proven leadership with ability to motivate and influence across reporting lines
- Customer-focused, self-driven, and committed to challenging the status quo
- Skilled in continuous learning, effective decision-making, and clear communication
- Proficient in data analysis to define current and future state conditions
- Effective change agent with ambition and team engagement
- Experience with RedZone software for CI in training, reliability, productivity, and quality
- Ability to visualize and analyze data using Power BI for actionable insights
