RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic plan focused on establishing and scaling world-class operational processes and maintenance programs that instill trust in our equipment and processes.
Capacity Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness for increasing production volumes without adding additional personnel, effectively managing resource allocation to cover for potential losses.
Continuous Improvement: Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by implementing lean methodologies, SMART goals, and training programs that empower employees to take ownership of their processes.
Root Cause Analysis: Lead meticulous root cause analysis initiatives to identify weaknesses and propose solutions to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
Training and Development: Mentor and coach key personnel, nurturing strong leadership within the operational excellence project team. Develop training modules that align with organizational goals and promote employee engagement.
Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and reliability, making data-driven decisions to optimize processes.
Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to align operational goals with company objectives, fostering an environment of open communication and feedback.
QUALIFICATIONS-
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a managerial or director-level role focused on reliability and operational excellence, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance programs, operational processes, and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Demonstrated success in scaling operations and leading high-performance teams.
- Excellent analytical skills and a track record of implementing effective root cause analysis.
- Outstanding communication and leadership abilities, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
