Duties

• Prepare a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and other confections, adhering strictly to recipes and quality standards
• Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, knives, and decorating tools safely and efficiently
• Execute food preparation tasks with precision, maintaining consistency across all products
• Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair to meet specifications and presentation standards
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
• Manage food handling processes to ensure freshness, safety, and hygiene at all times
• Support high-volume production needs while maintaining attention to detail and quality controlRequirements
• Proven experience in food production, pastry preparation, or cake decorating within a commercial kitchen or bakery setting
• Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures
• Serv-Safe Manager Certified
• Skilled in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in baking techniques
• Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in baked goods and pastry items
• Experience working in the food industry, catering, or restaurant environments preferred
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude toward team collaboration
• Basic math skills for measurements, portioning, and inventory management
• High-volume production experience is highly desirable for this role
