Nature’s Remedy Pharmacy, an independent community pharmacy in Manhasset, is seeking an experienced Part-Time/Full-Time Pharmacy Technician to join our team.
We are a patient-focused pharmacy that takes pride in providing personalized service and developing long-term relationships with our patients. We are looking for someone who is not only experienced and dependable, but also kind, helpful, patient, and genuinely enjoys working with people.
Required Experience
- PrimeRx experience is REQUIRED
- Medicare Part B billing experience is REQUIRED
- Previous pharmacy technician experience
- Strong understanding of prescription processing and pharmacy workflow
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Responsibilities
- Enter and process prescriptions accurately using PrimeRx
- Process and troubleshoot Medicare Part B claims
- Assist with prescription filling and daily pharmacy workflow
- Communicate with patients, prescribers, insurance companies, and suppliers
- Answer phones and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Help resolve insurance and billing issues
- Assist with inventory, ordering, and general pharmacy operations
- Work closely with pharmacists and other team members
