Facilities Technician (Days)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine building inspections to identify maintenance needs.
• Conduct structural repairs including walls, ceilings, doors, and windows.
• Complete minor carpentry work, including door adjustments and hardware repairs.
• Carry out surface repairs such as patching, sanding, and painting.
• Replace HVAC filters and assist with general HVAC system upkeep.
• Ensure building maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Respond to maintenance requests from other departments as needed.
• Maintain an organized and safe workspace, adhering to all safety guidelines.
• Assist with seasonal facility needs, such as snow removal or weatherproofing.

Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field.
• Working knowledge of basic trades including carpentry, painting, and HVAC.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment.
• Familiarity with safety practices, OSHA standards, and general workplace safety.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written, in the English language.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM with occasional evening or weekend work as needed for urgent repairs or special projects

Wage: $30.49-$31.78/hr $1.50/hr shift differential between 6PM - 6:00AM
