What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Technician (Days) position at Nature's Path Foods USA Inc?
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine building inspections to identify maintenance needs.
- Conduct structural repairs including walls, ceilings, doors, and windows.
- Complete minor carpentry work, including door adjustments and hardware repairs.
- Carry out surface repairs such as patching, sanding, and painting.
- Replace HVAC filters and assist with general HVAC system upkeep.
- Ensure building maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Respond to maintenance requests from other departments as needed.
- Maintain an organized and safe workspace, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Assist with seasonal facility needs, such as snow removal or weatherproofing.
Qualifications & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field.
- Working knowledge of basic trades including carpentry, painting, and HVAC.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment.
- Familiarity with safety practices, OSHA standards, and general workplace safety.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written, in the English language.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM with occasional evening or weekend work as needed for urgent repairs or special projects
Wage: $30.49-$31.78/hr $1.50/hr shift differential between 6PM - 6:00AM
