Bulk Foods Department Manager

Nature's Pantry is looking for Full Time Bulk Department Manager with retail management experience. The Bulk Manager oversees the operations of the bulk foods section of the grocery department. This includes product management and staff supervision. The Bulk Manager ensures excellent customer service, freshness and quality, and compliance with standards.

Qualifications:

• Oversee the general production of the department, ensuring that storage and display areas are maintained in a sanitary and orderly condition meeting health department standards.
• Experience with systems for purchasing, inventory, revenue and systems analysis.
• Place and receive orders with distributors and companies to maintain inventory, ensuring freshness and product quality.
• Office and computer skills with common programs including Excel, Word, email, etc.
• Must be able to lift up to 50#
• Must create and maintain a visibly attractive, clean and sanitary bulk department.
• Proven experience in merchandising with attractive displays and uniform signage.
• Excel in customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable, dependable, and organized with the ability to effectively multi-task
• A demonstrated understanding of the principles and practices of management and supervision
• Must have flexible availability, including mornings, evening and weekends.
• Knowledge of organic and natural foods is a plus, but willing to train the right individual.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
