Duties
- Assist with landscape installation including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks like mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning
- Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes
- Conduct lawn care activities such as mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including hedge trimming, tree care, mulching, and seasonal snow plowing when necessary
- Use excavation equipment like mini excavators for site preparation or planting projects under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris and ensuring tools are properly stored after use
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping equipment and power tools effectively
- Experience with lawn care routines and landscape maintenance techniques
