At Nature's Apprentice, our crews build incredible outdoor living spaces—and none of it happens without reliable equipment. We're looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment & Diesel Mechanic to keep our fleet operating safely, efficiently, and ready for every job.We're Looking for Someone Who:
- Has experience repairing and maintaining heavy equipment and diesel trucks
- Can diagnose hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and diesel engine issues
- Performs preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
- Troubleshoots equipment efficiently and accurately
- Works independently and manages time effectively
- Maintains accurate maintenance and repair records
- Has a valid driver's license (CDL is a plus)
What You'll Be Doing
- Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy equipment and diesel trucks
- Performing scheduled maintenance and preventative service
- Repairing hydraulic, electrical, engine, and mechanical systems
- Keeping our fleet job-ready to minimize downtime for field crews
- Maintaining an organized shop and equipment records
- Ordering and tracking parts as needed
- Identifying potential issues before they become costly repairs
