Part-Time Lake Maintenance Technician

Nature Lakes Inc. has been providing professional, environmentally responsible lake and water feature maintenance throughout Southern California for over 30 years. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Part-Time Lake Maintenance Technician to join our team.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and values being part of a team that helps maintain beautiful lakes, ponds, and water features.
Schedule
- Two weekdays per week (Monday–Friday)
- 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Days will be assigned based on company needs and may vary between Monday and Friday.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on lakes, ponds, and decorative water features.
- Remove debris from water surfaces and surrounding areas.
- Inspect and clean pumps, filters, skimmers, and other equipment.
- Monitor water quality and aquatic plant health.
- Apply environmentally responsible lake management practices.
- Operate small boats and maintenance equipment (training provided).
- Record service activities and communicate maintenance needs.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Mechanical aptitude is an asset.
- Experience in landscaping, irrigation, pool maintenance, or lake management is a plus, but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
