Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Orangeburg, NY, with flexibility for some remote work. The Packaging Engineer will be responsible for developing innovative, sustainable packaging solutions that align with the company’s eco-friendly mission. Key responsibilities include designing and testing packaging materials, collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting research and development (R&D) initiatives, and managing projects to implement new packaging solutions efficiently. 75k-125k range.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Packaging Engineering and Packaging Design
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D) for innovative packaging solutions
- Strong skills in Project Management and collaboration to ensure timely project execution
- Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering as it applies to packaging systems
- Proficiency in sustainability-focused design principles and materials desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
