Job Functions:
NaturaLawn of America is a nationally recognized lawn care company dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and results. Responsibilities include servicing customer lawns, communicating with customers, answering questions, and helping resolve lawn care concerns. This position also requires maintaining a neat, professional appearance and keeping a clean, organized work vehicle.
Company Relationships:
The Lawn Technician works closely with team members to help resolve customer concerns and provide excellent service.
Lawn Technician Duties (included but not limited to):
- Work directly with customers, their families, and their proprieties while demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and respect.
- Collaborate with team members to support branch operations and complete daily responsibilities efficiently.
- Apply lawn treatments using proper techniques while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
- Clearly explain and honestly promote the NaturaLawn of America program to current and prospective customers.
- Perform services calls according to company procedures and maintain proactive communication with customers.
- Safely operate and maintain company equipment and vehicles.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license with minimal infractions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 65 pounds throughout the workday.
- Maintain a professional appearance and be available to work the hours necessary to meet branch production needs.
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
No experience is necessary, though a background in agronomy, horticulture, or other green industry services is a plus. We provide paid training and support to help you obtain all required state registrations and certifications.
Personal Attributes:
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team while maintaining daily and weekly schedules. Strong communication skills, confidence interacting with customers, and a willingness to ask questions and take responsibility are essential. Candidates should enjoy physical work, working outdoors, and providing excellent customer service.
Benefits:
Employees are offered enrollment onto our health benefits program after 60 days. Medical, Dental, Prescription, and Vision coverages are included. After 90 days, employees are eligible for paid time off and paid holidays. After one year of employment, 401(k) retirement plan enrollment is available to employees. In addition to accrued paid time off, employees are now offered up to two days off for mental health reasons. We understand sometimes an employee just “needs a day” to clear their head and get refocused; we’re here for you when this time arrives.
Requirements:
Pilquist Enterprises, Inc. d/b/a NaturaLawn of America is a drug-free work environment. To apply for the position, you must have a clean, valid driver’s license. Applicants with a DUI, at-fault accident, and/or speeding tickets within the last five years may not be eligible for the position. You must have reliable transportation. Public transportation is not available for the hours of this position. Applicants must be able to consistently lift 65 pounds or more throughout the workday. Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
