Job Summary
The DC Shipper is responsible for accurate and efficient pallet preparation of company-wide outbound orders from the Distribution Center of Natural Grocers. This position combines orders from multiple departments, wraps and loads finished pallets onto trucks, prepares bills of lading, and communicates loads with carriers and store managers.

- Strong understanding of warehouse functions with previous experience
- Must have current valid Colorado driver license
- Ability to read, write and speak English clearly and concisely
- Experienced forklift operation required (must be certified) includes electric pallet jack
- Strong time management skills Ability to multi-task, with strong attention to detail; accuracy and thoroughness is a must
- Flexibility with working hours to accommodate warehouse needs
- Able to work both independently and as a team player
- Able to effectively communicate Able to assist in other departments as needed
Physical Requirements
- Must have the ability to lift 70 lbs, repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs.
- Requires the use of both arms and both hands with full range of motion
- Must be able to bend at the waist and knees, twist, push and pull on an occasional basis Must be able to kneel, squat, and climb as needed
- Must be able to reach overhead and away from the body
- Must be able to walk and stand for at least 90% of the time

Must have the ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to work occasionally with cold, heat, sharp tools and equipment, noise, contact stress, dust, fumes, and congested worksite.
