Process Engineer Summer Internship
Description
Dresser Utility Solutions is seeking a Process Engineer Intern to join our team. The Process Engineering Intern will perform engineering assignments designed to develop process engineering knowledge and experience associated with designing equipment, components, structures, or systems.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain process documentation (including organization SOPs, manufacturing work instructions, PFMEAs, process flow charts, training guides/documents).
- Track metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor implemented upgrades.
- Recommend and implement improvements and/or modifications to existing process documents.
- Recommend design modifications or process changes where justifiable by cost/design studies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing techniques
- Communicate findings and proposals to manager.
- Provides thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing techniques
- Perform other duties as required by Management.
- Collaborate with other functions, as required.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in an Engineering discipline.
- Minimum GPA requirement of 3.2.
- Working knowledge of the ISO 9001 Standard and knowledge of other QMS standards preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, Outlook)
- Excellent decision making and Problem-solving skills.
- Strong Organization and Prioritization skills.
- Microsoft Teams knowledge is a plus.
