- At least 2 years of experience working within a warehouse, counting inventory, filling orders, stocking shelves, etc.
- Knowledge of welded and/or electrical components preferred
Role
This role is performed in a fabrication shop and requires the ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation, including:
- Standing, walking, bending, and working on your feet for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift).
- Regularly lifting, carrying, and moving materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Performing physical activities requiring use of arms, legs, and full-body movement (e.g., climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching).
- Using manual dexterity and hand–eye coordination to assemble, route, and terminate wiring and operate hand and power tools safely.
- Having sufficient visual acuity to read diagrams, identify wire markings, measure components, and inspect assemblies for quality and accuracy.
- Tolerating exposure to typical fabrication shop conditions, including varying temperatures, dust, noise, and industrial equipment.
- Wearing required PPE, which may include safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel-toed boots.
