Duties:
* Prepare truck for operation by performing inspection and reporting required repairs
* Loads truck by placing, and securing items.
* Delivers items by identifying destinations; operating the truck; unloading items; transporting inside customer facility; maintaining schedule.
* Serves customers by understanding and resolving or forwarding complaints.
* Obtains payment by accepting checks and cash payments.
* Picks up backhauls, receive and putaway in warehouse.
* Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations; cleans truck exterior and interior.
* Maintains delivery, truck, and driving records by obtaining receipt acknowledgments; completing driver log and truck performance forms.
* Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Skills/Qualifications:
* CDL B with Air Brake Endorsement
* Ability to obtain and maintain DOT medical certificate
* Must be drug free to pass DOT drug testing program
* Safe driving record (maximum 1 violation in past 3 years)
* Confident in ability to drive in Chicago
* Lift up to 70 lbs.
* Able to work independently

Details:
* Delivery days are Wednesday - Friday.
* 3 shifts per week, 8-10 hours each.
* Start times can vary between 5 to 9am.
* Starting wage
- $29.50 for experienced CDL drivers
- $27 for new CDL B drivers with air brake endorsement
* Performance Bonuses paid monthly, up to $400.
* Annual company performance bonuses
