Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Special Occasion Hair and Makeup Artist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills and passion for beauty in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Hair and makeup applications for clients, including bridal, special events, and editorial looks
- Provide personalized consultations to determine clients' desired makeup looks
- Stay up-to-date with the latest beauty trends and techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Upsell beauty products and recommend skincare routines to clients
- Manage inventory of makeup products and supplies
Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of various makeup techniques, including contouring, highlighting, and color correction
- Proficiency in applying makeup for different skin types and tones
- Strong understanding of facial anatomy and features
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of salon software for appointment scheduling and inventory management is a plus
- Experience with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, barbering, or nail care is a bonus
- Ability to mentor and train junior makeup artists
