Ranch Hand
We are seeking a skilled Ranch Hand to join our team at Natural Bridge Caverns. The ideal candidate will have experience working on a ranch, caring for horses and be able to perform a variety of tasks related to the care and maintenance of livestock and property.
Responsibilities:
- Feed and water livestock
- Feed, care for and exercise horses
- Maintain and repair fences, buildings, and equipment
- Clean and maintain barns, stables, and other facilities
- Assist with breeding, birthing, and other animal care tasks
- Operate and maintain ranch vehicles and equipment
- Perform field maintenance and brush clearing using mowers, tractors, tree trimmers and chainsaws
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Experience working on a ranch is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor
- Helpful to have knowledge or experience in animal care and husbandry
- Ability to operate and maintain ranch vehicles and equipment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
