About the Role:
Natural Body Astoria is hiring one retail associate to join our team.
While the title says “retail,” this isn’t a traditional cashier role. We see ourselves as a hospitality company that happens to sell supplements. Your job is to make sure every customer feels welcomed, understood, and confident when they leave.
This is a hands-on, move-your-feet role. The store isn’t chaotic, but there is always something to do. From working the sales floor and educating customers, to merchandising, cleaning, content creation, and daily store operations, this role suits someone who takes initiative and stays engaged.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Welcome customers and create a friendly, comfortable in-store experience
- Listen to customer needs and match them with appropriate products
- Educate customers clearly and honestly
- Ring sales accurately and handle point-of-sale transactions
- Check, rotate, organize, and restock inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment
- Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally
- Participate in content creation and speak on camera (required)
- Support daily store operations and assist where needed
What We’re Looking For
- Positive, upbeat, and reliable attitude
- Comfortable speaking on camera (required)
- Social media experience strongly preferred
- Ability to build rapport and communicate clearly with customers
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Comfortable using basic computer tools (email, spreadsheets, POS systems)
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to HQ in Ozone Park for training
- Flexible availability
- Ability to pick up shifts at other Natural Body locations is a strong plus
