What are the responsibilities and job description for the Garden Center Merchandiser position at Natural Beauty Growers, LLC?
Our purpose at Natural Beauty is to inspire, enrich lives, & to make people smile. Natural Beauty Growers is a greenhouse, leading the way to a greener and more colorful world. We grow a wide range of young plants for other greenhouses and finished plants for retailers both locally and across the country. Our merchandising team strives to create appealing displays and maintain the quality of the plants at Home Depot stores for customers. We are now hiring seasonal garden merchandisers. Depending on weather, position starts in mid April and ends in July. Why work for Natural Beauty Growers?
- Competitive pay starting at $16.00 per hour, with a range for the position to $17.50 per hour depending on experience. Must be 18 years of age.

Expectations:
- Expand plant knowledge while unloading our carts of product onto tables
- Follow store planogram with commitment and flexibility
- Accurately record and remove Natural Beauty product that doesn’t meet our standard
- Change and expand signage during sales
- Answer customers questions about Natural Beauty product while unloading carts
- Favor action in fast-paced retail environment
- Working outdoors in various conditions (rain, cold, wind, and heat) will be expected.
- Regular communication with Merchandising Manager; address watering issues, product inventory, no cashiers, or gates being closed, etc
- Work hard but have fun doing it
Requirements:
- Ability to work on a team and independently
- Attention to detail while completing tasks in a timely manner
- Positive attitude and willingness to adapt
- Physically demanding & fast paced environment. Ability to stand for the duration of your shift while regularly lifting, bending, squatting, kneeling and reaching overhead
- One weekend shift each week, including Mother’s Day and Memorial Day weekend
- Access to reliable transportation and cell phone
- Plant knowledge in a personal or professional setting is a plus
