Licensed Massage Therapist

Come be a part of this busy and well- established massage office! Natural Balance Massage has been serving the Southbury area for 24 years and we continue to grow. We are looking for 1 full time or 2 part time therapists who value their craft and a fun, easy going atmosphere. Owned and operated by a massage therapist of 18 years who is still kicking around in the treatment room. We understand career longevity lies in self-care and work/life balance and want to support you to achieve your career goals! We have flexible hours available but Wednesday availability would be great.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual client needs.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop tailored treatment plans focused on pain management and relaxation.
• Educate clients on physiology, anatomy, and the benefits of different massage modalities to foster informed wellness choices.
• Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with medical terminology standards.
• Ensure a welcoming, professional environment by delivering outstanding customer service and addressing client questions or concerns promptly.
• Light office work of occasionally answering phone calls, returning messages and scheduling appointments.
• Cashing out your own clients once comfortable.

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification.
• Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a comfortable environment for clients.
• Sense of humor

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $38.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
